The VRPMC Department of Internal Medicine aims to provide quality healthcare that is committed to attain better health outcomes in the field of adult medicine recognized nationally through excellence in service, training and research.
Its goal is for the resident to gain clinical experience by problem solving and decision making in order to render quality and compassionate care pursuant to the standards set by the Philippine College of Physicians.
Enable the resident to gain confidence in doing a technical procedure related to the diagnosis and management of a case; instill in the resident the values of excellence, industry, integrity, and professionalism; motivate the resident to produce research that shall positively impact on the quality of patient care and health policies relevant to society at large which was revised to the following:
