First established as Polymedic General Hospital by Dr. Victor R. Potenciano along with Col. Pelagio G. Potenciano, M.D. Arsenio G. Francisco, M.D., Mrs. Irma P.E. Potenciano, and Flora P. Caviles in Sept. 22, 1967. The name was changed to current “VRP Medical Center”in Feb 28, 1998 to prevent confusion from other “Polymedia” entitles in the country.

VRP Medical Center received its first ISO certification from Anglo Japanese American Registrars, Inc. in June 2001. It has also received certification fro the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007, Occupational Health and Safety in June of 2009, as well as the distinguished recognition of being a PhilHealth Center of Excellence last 2010. The most recent renewal of certification for the 3 ISO Standards were for ISO 9001:2008 QMS, ISO 14001:2004 EMS and OHSAS 18001:2007 Integrated Management System last year.


VRP Medical Center aims to be an ideal hospital recognized nationally and internationally.
