Every month, VRP holds a Mini Health Fair for one day to offer walk-in patients and guests with free basic consults by a Physician from Internal Medicine or Pediatrics Department, with free blood pressure check and vital signs by an Urgent Care Registered Nurse, and BMI check by Diabetes, Obesity and Nutrition (DON) Center and pulse rate by a Registered Nutritionist. This monthly medical mission forms part of VRPMC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by the Marketing Department.
The sponsors who continuously support this outpatient medical mission inside the hospital include RiteMed, Unilab, Philusa, Mercury Drug, Glucobest, M2 Malunggay, Wilkins, Flanax, Cherifer, and more. Sponsors give away free basic medicines, vitamins, medical supplies, brand merchandise, and other free medical services to VRPMC patients.
