VRP Medical Center celebrated 2019 with bagful of awards, certifications, partnerships and a promising year 2020. The year culminated with a prestigious recognition from Mount Grace Hospitals Inc. for Quality Awards in Administrative Process, and Account Management, plus a Special Award for Finance Management.
Mrs. Ma. Victoria P. Vergel de Dios, President of VRPMC and Mrs. Rona V. Garcia, Hospital Administrator received the plaque of awards during the MGHI Christmas Gala in December, attended by MGHI executive and management committee and key officers from the network of hospital partners.
The entry of Quality Management Department submitted by Gemma Galope, Quality Management Representative, about the continuous improvement on 7S quality standard as VRP’s best-known practice was selected for the Administrative Process Quality Award.
The “I Am a VRP Baby” entry submitted by Rosalie Operana, Marketing Head, received the Quality Award for Account Management Milestone. The VRP Baby is the longest running marketing program of VRP featuring the Mom and Baby Well-Come Kit, the VRP Baby Card, and the VRP Baby Calendar Search.
VRP also proudly received a Special Award on Finance Management for Outstanding Profitability in the MGHI network based on achievement versus strategic objectives.
MGHI Quality Awards for Operational Excellence was established to recognize the outstanding achievements made by the hospital partners for the current year by embracing quality management and process improvement according to international standards. This is MGHI’s Community of Care program that follows the standards of JCI Environment of Care for patient safety, infection control, facility management, emergency preparedness and people empowerment.
It was a happy year-end celebration for VRP family leading to a very promising productive and more profitable new year 2020!
